Ipe: also known as ironwood or Brazilian walnut, is known for its beauty, durability, and resistance to pests and mold. While maintenance is needed to keep it looking good, some prefer its natural grey hue over time. Every project comes with a warranty that will depend on the framing, decking, and handrail used. We offer a lifetime warranty on a deck if we build it the way we would build our own deck.
Framing
All structures are crafted with top-tier pressure-treated hemlock/fir framing, ideal for the rainy Pacific Northwest. To enhance longevity, we apply end grain sealer/preservative to each cut in the framing and pressure-treated lumber.
Our commitment extends beyond meeting Washington State guidelines and codes. We prioritize durability, understanding that a deck’s strength begins with its foundation.
